Terms and disclaimer
This is a personal site where I show my work and publish the frameworks behind it. You are welcome to use what is here, and these are the terms that come with it.
What this site is
A portfolio and a record of my work in AI literacy and education: the applications I have built, the frameworks and curricula behind them, and writing about both. Everything on it is published in my personal capacity.
Provided as they are
The frameworks, curricula, applications and writing here are published for educational purposes and provided as they are, with no warranty of any kind. I do not promise that they are complete, current, correct for your setting or fit for a particular purpose, and I do not promise that a hosted application will stay available or keep working the way it does today.
These tools change as the work changes. I revise them, and I retire them, without notice.
Nothing here is professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, accessibility-compliance, employment, financial or institutional-policy advice, and nothing here evaluates your course, your program or your institution.
The frameworks describe how I approached a problem in my own setting, with the students and faculty in front of me. Adapting one is your decision, and that decision belongs with the people who advise your institution rather than with a page on my site.
How these are applied is your responsibility
You use the frameworks, curricula and tools here at your own risk. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss, claim or damage arising out of the use of anything on this site, including decisions made from it and anything an embedded application produces.
An embedded application is a demonstration of a working tool and not a service I am operating for you.
Using this work
The frameworks, ALIGN and the AI literacy microcredential curriculum, are free to use with attribution. The writing on this site and the site itself are all rights reserved.
ALIGN was created by the cross-functional faculty and staff team I led at Montgomery College, so attribution should name that work rather than me alone. Where anything else here was co-created, the collaborator is named beside it and belongs in the attribution.
Other people’s sites and tools
The applications embedded or linked here run on their own infrastructure and carry their own terms, and so does every site I link to. A link is not an endorsement, and I have no control over what is on the other end of it after I put it there.
Changes, and how to reach me
I may change this site or these terms at any time, and the version on this page is the one that applies. If something here is unclear, write to me and I will say what I meant.
